Pastor James W. Nesbitt, Sr.
Dr. James W. Nesbitt, Sr. is a native of Greer, South Carolina. He is a graduate of South Carolina State University, Class of 1980, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. He is a graduate of North Greenville University, Class of 2008, where he received his Master of Christian Ministry. In July 2024, Dr. Nesbitt received his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Covington Theological Seminary.

After much prayer, Dr. Nesbitt was led by God to exercise a mighty act of faith and became the visionary and founder of Beulah Christian Fellowship Church, May 6, 2007. Over the years, Beulah has continued to grow spiritually, physically, and financially under the anointed preaching and teaching of Dr. James W. Nesbitt, Sr.

Dr. Nesbitt is an entrepreneur and businessman; being well known and respected for his work and ownership in the automotive industry as well as other small businesses. He is also a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Dr. Nesbitt is active in the community. He currently serves as the moderator of The Reedy River Baptist Association, a member of the Board of Trustees of Morris College, a member of the executive committee of the Baptist E&M Convention, immediate past chairman of the budget committee of Baptist E&M Convention, and a member of G.A.C.P (Greenville Area Community Planning). He is the former Chairman of Rainbow Push Coalition, Greenville Chapter, and the former President and a member of the Baptist Ministers’ Fellowship of Greenville and Vicinity. He is the founder, former chairman, and a current member of PUA (Pastors United for Action). Previously, he pastored Garrison Chapel Baptist Church in Tryon, N.C., for five years, and Shady Grove Baptist Church in Pelzer, S.C. for nine years. His leadership allowed both ministries to flourish and expand their capacity for kingdom building.

Dr. Nesbitt has been married to Mrs. Blondell Nesbitt for 48 years and from that union they have three adult children; Ashley, and husband Kennyatta, of Virginia; Dr. Amberly, MD, and husband Rich Winley of Smyrna Georgia; and James Jr., and wife Tiara, of Hendersonville, TN. They are the proud grandparents of six wonderful grandchildren.

With much humility and gratitude, Dr. Nesbitt continues to give all the glory and honor to God for His continued favor. He lives by the belief that "An act of faith precedes an act of God"!
